Terms
Last updated 25 September 2026
These terms govern the use of Diffusion, operated by Jean Exemple, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), trading as Diffusion Creatives, 10 rue de l'Exemple, 75001 Paris, France, SIRET 000 000 000 00000 (“Diffusion”, “we”). By creating an account or using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Diffusion.
1. The service
Diffusion is a curated network that connects creatives in the fashion industry with each other. It lets members publish a profile and portfolio, open projects with a moodboard, apply to other members' projects and suggest people for them. The service is currently free of charge.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
- The information you give must be accurate and kept up to date. One account per person.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us at once at legal@diffusion.example if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Anyone can create an account. A profile appears on the platform only after the team has reviewed and approved it, at its sole discretion.
3. Projects and collaborations
Diffusion is a meeting place, not an agency, employer or marketplace. Any collaboration that starts from a project is agreed directly between the members involved; Diffusion is not a party to it. In particular:
- Rates and budgets shown on the site are indicative and set by the members.
- When you apply to a project, your name, email, Instagram and profile link are sent by email to its owner. When an owner accepts an application, their own contacts are sent to the applicant.
- Once someone is accepted, the owner and the accepted members can talk in the project's team chat. Messages are private to them: Diffusion does not monitor them and is not responsible for what members write or agree there.
- Diffusion does not handle payments, invoices, taxes, insurance, contracts or usage rights between the parties; they agree these between themselves.
- We do not guarantee the availability, quality or outcome of any work, nor that an application will be accepted.
- Members are independent professionals responsible for their own legal, tax and social obligations.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you publish (profile, images, portfolio, projects and moodboards). You confirm that you hold the rights needed to publish it, including the consent of the people shown and the agreement of collaborators, and that you credit them correctly.
You grant Diffusion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt to formats and display that content on the platform and to feature it in Diffusion's publications and promotion of the network, with credit. The licence ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for publications already released.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- publish illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or misleading content;
- harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- send spam, unsolicited advertising or requests unrelated to real work;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity, credits or experience;
- collect data from the site by automated means, or use other members' data for purposes other than the collaboration it was shared for;
- interfere with the security or operation of the site, or access areas you are not authorised to use.
6. Reporting and moderation
Anyone can report content they believe is illegal or breaches these terms by writing to legal@diffusion.example, with the link to the content and the reason. A message in a team chat can also be reported with the Report link next to it. This address is also our single point of contact for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act. We review reports diligently and may remove content, restrict features or suspend or close accounts. We tell the person concerned the reason for our decision, and they can contest it at the same address.
7. Suspension and closing an account
You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the law, after notice unless the breach is serious or urgent. We may remove a creative from the published network if they no longer meet its curation criteria.
8. Our intellectual property
The Diffusion name, logo, design, texts and publications belong to Diffusion or its licensors. You may not reuse them without permission, except to share links to the site.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the site available and secure but provide it as it is, without guarantee of uninterrupted access. To the extent the law allows, Diffusion is not liable for agreements between members, for content published by members, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury, or the rights consumers have under mandatory law.
10. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our Privacy policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email of significant changes; if you continue to use Diffusion after they take effect, you accept them. Otherwise you can close your account.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute amicably. If you are a consumer, you can also refer the dispute free of charge to our consumer mediator: [Consumer mediator name, address and website]. Failing an amicable solution, disputes are submitted to the courts of Paris, without prejudice to the right of consumers to bring proceedings before the courts of the place where they live.
